About Me

Dario Tokur received a diploma in sports science with focus on information technology in 2012 at the Institute of Sport Science (IfS) at TU Darmstadt (TUD), Germany. He is currently a Phd candidate in the Locomotion Laboratory. He is part of the B.A.L.A.N.C.E.-Project and researches human balance mechanisms and strategies during perturbations. He's focusing on the mechanical reactions of the lower limbs and leg muscles. Furthermore comparing human data with modelling approaches that represent specific (human) leg features to establish valid gait models.
